- Before entering, ensure that bull is fully registered by breed society and with I.C.B.F.
- Bull must be T.B. tested within 60 days of sale, non compliance will result in withdrawal from sale. No Exceptions
- Bulls with ringworm will not be accepted.
- Beef bulls must be owner bred.
- No substitute bulls allowed.
- Friesian bulls must be progeny of dams yielding a minimum of 400Kg. of fat and protein combined in 305 days in one lactation. Milk yields must be vouched for by recording body.
- Bulls must be between 13 and 24 months on sale date.
- Pedigree certificate and Blue Card must be handed in on morning of sale.
- Bull must be halter trained and ringed and must be led by a competent handler.
- Four bulls of any breed may be entered; however, numbers accepted may be limited at committee’s discretion.
- Tranquilisers, or other artificial aids to improve gait or behaviour are forbidden. Bull may be examined
- Bulls may be inspected and refused entry if not of an acceptable standard.
- Bidding will be online and at ringside, subject to Govt. rules. Minimum bid at sale is €1500.
- The committee reserves the right to adjudicate on any matter concerning the show or sale and to refuse any entry.
- Cheques payable to: – Kilkenny Agricultural Society Ltd. at address below.
- Fee of €20 payable if halter not left on bull after sale.
