Welcome to the Kilkenny Mart live stream page. You can view our ongoing sales and participate in bidding from anywhere using the MartBids platform. Our sales operate with both ringside and online participation to ensure a fair and transparent trading environment for all.
We use MartBids for our online streaming partner, allowing you to view live video streams, check animal weights, and place bids in real-time.
Using MartBids
For Buyers
- Registration: All buyers must be registered on the MartBids app or website to bid online. You can download the app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
- Request Permission: Once registered, you must select Kilkenny Mart within the app and “Request Bid Permission.”
- Bidding Number: To complete your setup, ensure you have secured a bidding number from the mart office.
- Approval: The mart must approve your request before you can begin bidding. We recommend completing this process at least 24 hours before the sale begins.
For Sellers
Sellers can also use the MartBids app to view the sale of their livestock in real-time. You can now register through the app to approve the sale of your livestock online as they pass through the ring.
Viewing Only
If you simply wish to watch the live stream without bidding, you can register for free on the MartBids website or app to access the video feed and live reports.

To bid live from your smartphone or tablet, download the MartBids app. This app is provided by the Irish Farmers Journal and allows you to watch the ringside action and place bids with a single tap.
